The Lions And The Liner........ original artwork
A second tin related cutout, some cut after looking at the book of "British Biscuit Tins” by M J Franklin, in conjunction with the V & A Museum. Biscuit companies such as Peek Frean, Huntley And Palmers, W & R Jacob produced lavish lithographically printed tins with inventive designs such as trains, pram, cars, the idea being you ate the biscuits and kept the tin. There is also a interloper in the cutout, a Japanese cat gramophone needle tin , as I felt like putting one there!!
It is cut out of billheads, petrol ration coupons, stamps. The cutouts are glued onto a dark brown square which has been printed onto 300 gsm white card.
there is a dotty line round the edge.
